Indore, 22 September (). Khajrana police of Indore district in Madhya Pradesh have registered a case against two people in the case of conversion. This action was taken on the complaint of a woman from Chhindwara. There is also resentment among the local people after the incident came to light. They are demanding a thorough investigation into the matter.
The complainant woman told the police that she had gone to a Baba. Baba and his partner forced him to change religion and threatened when he refused. Even after this, if he did not change religion, he started harassing.
The woman said that the accused used to say that ‘come into our religion, there will be a lot of benefit. Money is also available, there will be no problem. ”The accused Baba called him again and again and called him to meet.
In view of the seriousness of the victim’s complaint, Khajrana police immediately registered a case against two people under the Madhya Pradesh Religious Freedom Act and started investigation.
Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotia said that initial investigation has revealed that the accused Baba and his partner were pressurizing for conversion. The police is now investigating whether the accused is part of a big network or it is its personal act.
Investigation has been started against Baba. Even before this, how many people have been converted by Baba, it will also be investigated. The team has also been formed for this.
Police say the law will be strictly followed in such sensitive cases. If any person tries to convert through pressure, greed or threat, strict action will be taken against him.
