The annual investiture ceremony of Intake Heritage Club of Maharana Mewar Public School, The City Palace, Udaipur was organized enthusiastically with the theme ‘Celebrating Diversity’. The objective of the function was to develop leadership abilities, preservation of cultural heritage and sense of social responsibility among the students.
The chief guest of the function was Gaurav Singhvi (Co-Convenor, INTACH Udaipur Chapter). Maheep Bhatnagar, Arjun Pancholi, Dolly Mogre, Oshin Sharma, Lokesh Gandhi (Life Member, Intake), Honorary Director of the school Satish Kumar Sharma and Principal Rakhi Trivedi were present among the special guests. The Honorary Director welcomed all the guests. At the beginning of the program, student Rudrakshi Shaktawat presented the report of the annual activities of the session 2025-26.
Among the cultural presentations, group songs, shloka recitation, poetry, solo dance and Krishna Raas enthralled the audience. Shloka recitation by student Ridit Joshi and the poem ‘Krishna’s warning’ presented by student Manikarnika received special appreciation. In the ceremony, student Gemini Purbia was elected as club president and Ashar Hussain, Lavisha Sen, Himakshi Parakh and Rudrakshi Shaktawat were elected as executive officers.
Gaurav Singhvi administered the oath to the newly elected officials by wearing badges and honored the students who performed excellently in the annual activities. Intake Heritage Club of Maharana Mewar Public School was awarded a citation and prize money of ₹ 3000 for being selected as the second best heritage club in the country. Harshi Parakh and Aaradhya Singh were honored with the ‘Best Heritage Club Student’ award.
In his address, Gaurav Singhvi called upon the students to play an active role in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of India. Expressing happiness over the national achievements of the club, the Honorary Director appreciated the dedication of the students and in-charges and gave them the message to remain continuously active towards heritage conservation.
The operation and organization of the program was completed under the guidance of intake in-charge Pratima Paliwal, Ms. Saba Shaukat, Sunita Sisodia and Anuradha Pujari. In the end, newly elected club president Gemini Purbia expressed vote of thanks.
