Patna, November 2 (). JDU’s national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan said that after the new industrial policy and initiatives to promote investment in Bihar, major changes are being seen in the field of industry and employment.
He told INS that so far investment worth Rs 42,000 crore has come into the state, which has not only established new units but also provided employment opportunities to thousands of youth.
According to Rajiv Ranjan, the government has already issued all the instructions related to jobs and work on these is going on at a fast pace. He said that the government is giving top priority to the economic empowerment of women. For this purpose, financial assistance up to Rs 2 lakh is being provided to women to start their own business.
He also rejected the opposition’s allegation that money was being taken in the process of giving benefits. He clearly said that the allegations of the opposition are completely baseless. There is no bribe, only empowerment. Every scheme of the government is to strengthen women.
Even on Mokama massacre, JDU spokesperson said that now the rule of law is being implemented in Bihar without any discrimination. He said that whether he belongs to the ruling party or is associated with any allied party, action will be taken as per the law.
Rajeev Ranjan said, “Today the situation is very clear that the law is equal for everyone. No person is above the law. The state government has proved by taking action in many cases that there is no relaxation in the matter of law.”
Referring to the period from 1990 to 2005, he said that at that time Bihar was known for anarchy and political interference policing. He said that in those years the police had to take orders from the Chief Minister’s office, due to which law and order had completely deteriorated.
