IPS Puran Kumar suicide case: No post-mortem till DG-SP's arrest, Mahapanchayat on Sunday

Chandigarh. Haryana IPS officer Y. The case of Puran Kumar’s suicide is continuously heating up. There was a large gathering of political parties at his official residence even on Saturday. Family and Martyr Y. Puran Kumar Nyay Sangharsh Morcha has unanimously announced that until Haryana DGP Shatrujit Singh Kapoor and SP Rohtak Narendra Bijarnia are dismissed and arrested, the post-mortem of the body of the IPS will not be conducted. On Saturday also, many senior leaders including former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi, AAP leader Manish Sisodia, Haryana Minister Anil Vij, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda reached the residence of IAS Amneet P. Kumar in Sector 24 and assured the bereaved family of strict action. ‘Shaheed Y. ‘Puran Kumar Nyay Sangharsh Morcha’ has announced to organize a Mahapanchayat at Guru Ravidas Gurudwara located in Sector 20 on Sunday, in which members of 36 different associations and organizations will participate. Morcha presidents Jai Narayan, Gautam Bhoria and Dinesh Valmiki made it clear that until the officers (DGP and SP Rohtak) named in the ‘final note’ are suspended and arrested by the IPS, they will further intensify the struggle in the city and will not allow the post-mortem to take place.
Advocate Sudesh Kumar Khurcha has demanded that the officers named by the deceased IPS should be immediately dismissed and arrested. He alleged that big people are involved in this big case and the sections imposed under SC/ST Act are also minor, whereas strictest action should be taken against the accused officers.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Haryana government took action on Saturday and removed SP Rohtak Narendra Bijarnia from his post. IPS Surinder Singh Bhuria has been posted in his place. However, orders for new posting of Bijarnia will be issued separately.
