Bharatiya Janata Party state spokesperson Sandipani Bhardwaj strongly condemned the remarks made by Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi on senior BJP leadership, saying that the minister has lost both his mental balance and political wisdom. He said that Jagat Singh Negi has no political acceptance left in his own party. In his own district, against his wishes, Congress has appointed him as the District President, whose frustration and frustration he is venting out by making unrestrained statements against the national leadership of BJP.
Sandipani Bhardwaj said that Jagat Singh Negi should understand that he cannot prove his political relevance by making indecent remarks on the top leadership of BJP. If he does not stop using such indecent language, BJP workers will publicly oppose him in a democratic manner.
He said that before coming to power, the Congress government had come to power by promising regular recruitments and showing big dreams to the youth, but even after two and a half years, neither regular recruitments took place nor the youth got employment. On the contrary, citing alleged irregularities in the then Staff Selection Commission, the government closed down the Commission, but till date neither the investigation report has been made public nor has it been told who were the culprits. If such big scams had really taken place then the government should issue a white paper and tell the truth to the people and youth of the state.
He said that during the time of BJP government, the appointments of about 700 youth were in the final stages, but the Congress government stopped them too and played with the future of thousands of youth. Today the unemployed youth of the state are asking the government where the promise of regular recruitment has gone.
Sandipani Bhardwaj alleged that the Congress government has ended the transparent recruitment system and developed a new mechanism to give backdoor appointments to its favourites, relatives and Congress workers. He said that many such examples have come to light in the state where due to the influence of ministers and Congress leaders, their family members and supporters were given appointments in government institutions, while qualified and eligible youth are waiting for employment. This is the same system change that Congress talked about.
He said that Congress had promised in the elections to end outsourced recruitment and give regular appointments, but today outsourced recruitment has also become a medium of political interference in the name of approval from the Finance Department. Approvals are given only in the departments where people from the ruling party are to benefit. This entire process is contrary to the principles of transparency and merit.
BJP spokesperson said that on one hand Congress raises questions on the Central Government regarding the examination system, while on the other hand the Staff Selection Commission in Himachal has not been able to complete the investigation of the matter till date. While the Central Government has taken strict steps like CBI investigation, arrest of culprits, re-examination and fast track court in the paper leak cases, the Himachal Government is keeping silence on its own promises and investigations. He said that the country runs on democracy, not anarchy. Congress is doing street politics by running away from debate on issues that should be discussed in Parliament.
Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the Prime Minister’s residence and the opposition’s demonstration in sensitive areas is not in accordance with democratic traditions. Congress should first tell the youth of Himachal where the investigation into recruitment scams has reached, when will regular recruitments take place and when will the government respond to backdoor appointments.
In the end, Sandipani Bhardwaj said that Bharatiya Janata Party will continue to fight strongly for the rights of the youth of the state. The Congress government should leave aside political rhetoric and make the recruitment process transparent, complete the pending recruitments and fulfill the promises made to the unemployed youth of Himachal.
