Jaipur.The ‘Jaipur Meets Jupiter’ event organized by Ozone Space, Rajasthan’s first space education company, provided an amazing experience of astronomy and introspection to the people of Jaipur. This special event took place on the rooftop of Platter Restaurant located at Rajasthan International Center (RIC), which was enthusiastically participated by around 65–70 people. The event was held on a rare astronomical occasion when Jupiter was visible at its closest to Earth. Participants had the opportunity to view Jupiter’s moons, the Great Red Spot, and, weather permitting, the Saturn and Orion Nebulas through modern and professional telescopes. Along with astronomical observation, a major attraction of the program was Sonal Aggarwal RawatFounder of Mother’s Vibe and renowned emotional wellness coach in a special session titled “Manifesting Under the Stars: Aligning Intentions with the Universe.” In her session, Sonal Rawat used the ancient Vedic thought ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ – meaning “I am the universe” – to explain that man is not separate from the universe, but a living part of it.
He told the participants that manifestation is not the process of achieving any desire, but the result of establishing harmony within oneself and with the universe. The guided meditation and intention-setting exercise under the stars was a very calming, emotional and inspiring experience for the participants.
The event began with a welcome and introduction session for the visitors, followed by high-tea and night sky observation guided by experts. The event became a memorable experience for students, youth, families and people interested in astronomy.
Ozone Space, Rajasthan’s first dedicated space education company, is taking science to the masses through online and offline space and astronomy classes across the country. Such an event at a prestigious venue like RIC is being considered as a step to give a new direction to scientific awareness and experiential education in Jaipur.
‘Jaipur Meets Jupiter’ proved to be not just an astronomical event, but a beautiful confluence of science and self-realization that gave participants an opportunity to connect with both the sky and the soul.
