Jaipur Municipal Corporation's action: 4 canter goods seized, Rs 2 thousand carrying charge collected from encroachers

Jaipur. The vigilance wing of the Municipal Corporation Jaipur took major action on Wednesday while conducting a campaign against temporary encroachments in various areas of the city. During this period, 4 containers of goods were confiscated and carrying charge of Rs 2,000 was collected from the encroachers. On the instructions of Municipal Corporation Commissioner Om Kasera and on the basis of complaints received earlier, this campaign was conducted under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vigilance. The action was taken at Shiv Residency, Narayan Vihar, Swarnpath Mansarovar, 7 No. Pulia Mahal Road and Karolon Ka Bagh, Jagatpura area. Deputy Commissioner Vigilance said that during the campaign, temporary encroachments in public places were removed. Four canter items seized during the operation were sent to the Municipal Corporation warehouse.
The vigilance team, while admonishing the encroachers on the spot, also warned them not to encroach on public places in future. Officials clarified that if illegal or temporary encroachment is done again, effective legal action will be taken against the concerned people with heavy fines.
The Municipal Corporation has also appealed to the common citizens to cooperate in keeping the public roads and government land encroachment free.
