JDU leaders said, 'Work was done for all sections during Nitish Kumar's rule'

Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached JDU office on Saturday, where he held a meeting with newly elected and former MLAs after the assembly elections. Nitish Kumar officially launched the party’s membership campaign at the party office. Regarding this campaign, senior JDU leader Bashistha Narayan Singh said that NDA has got a huge majority in the recent assembly elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. This is an example in the country of how a leader can run a government efficiently and serve the people. Such an example can hardly be seen in any other leader in India. It has become clear from this result that Bihar is being managed by such a person under whose leadership work has been done for all sections of the society. He said that the kind of enthusiasm seen among women and the large number in which they voted clearly shows that they have expressed their faith in the leadership of Nitish Kumar. This has become an example for the country. I congratulate and best wishes to the people of Bihar. If Nitish Kumar continues to lead Bihar like this, its effect will be visible on the entire country. The reason for the scale of people’s enthusiasm that is being seen today is that NDA has got a much bigger mandate than what the public had expected.
Bihar government minister Shravan Kumar said that it is a matter of pride that the government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar has been in power in Bihar for the last 20 years. Even before that, Janata Dal (United) had been running a membership campaign. This time this campaign has been started by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself. This time, more members will be recruited than in previous campaigns, which will further strengthen the party. This effort will not be limited to Bihar only. Together we will work to strengthen the party in other states also.
Union Minister of State Ramnath Thakur said that under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, the people of Bihar gave their blessings in 2025 and played an important role in giving victory to NDA along with Janata Dal (United) winning 85 assembly seats. The membership campaign of Janata Dal (United) is starting today. We congratulate and hope that Janata Dal (United) becomes even stronger and organized under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Just as the people of Bihar blessed us in 2025, similarly our aim is to get an overwhelming majority in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha said that today our Chief Minister launched the party membership campaign for 2025 to 2028. Last time the target was 75 lakh members, whereas this time the target has been set to make 1 crore members. The Chief Minister also launched the membership renewal process of existing members. In this program we also honored all the district presidents, organization in-charges and legislative cell in-charges of the party, who played an important role in the recent elections.
Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that our previous membership campaign ran from 2022 to 2025 and its period was about to end. Normally this campaign would have started much earlier, but it was delayed due to the assembly elections.
