Chatra, 20 September (). Uttam Yadav, the kingpin of a criminal gang called ‘Tiger Group’ active on the Jharkhand-Bihar border, was killed in an encounter with police in Chatra district late Saturday evening.

The Superintendent of Police of Chatra has confirmed Uttam’s death. The Bihar government had declared a reward of 50 thousand rupees on it. It was told that this encounter took place in Jabra area of ​​Simaria police station area under Chatra district of Jharkhand.

Uttam Yadav took responsibility for firing in broad daylight at the Jewelers establishment in Hazaribagh three months ago. It was told that the police had received information about Uttam Yadav reaching Simaria area. When the joint team of Hazaribagh and Chatra District Police reached in search of him, he started firing. Police also fired in retaliation. During the encounter, Uttam fired bullets in the chest, stomach and thigh and fell on the spot.

The body was later sent to Chatra Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Doctors said that the post -mortem will be done late night in the presence of the magistrate, for which administrative permission has been sought. According to police records, dozens of cases of serious allegations like murder, robbery, extortion, extortion and firing were registered against Uttam Yadav in several police stations in Jharkhand and Bihar. He had been a headache for the police for a long time.

Uttam Yadav was a resident of Chatra district and before that he also went to jail in a criminal case. About two months ago, Uttam Yadav released a video with AK-47 in his hand, in which he threatened to face serious consequences for not levying the businessmen of Chatra and Hazaribagh.

On June 22, Uttam himself took responsibility for the firing on Mr. Jewelers in Hazaribagh Sadar police station area and on the same day he had openly challenged the police by issuing another threatening video with Carbine. After this incident, Hazaribagh police arrested nine gangs of his gang on 3 July.
