‘Chhota Champion’ arrives at the grocery store
The child comes to the shop with some coins—especially Rs 1 and 2 coins—with which he tries to buy biscuits and then toffee. But, every time the price of things turns out to be more than he expected. The child had come with a firm intention: he wanted to buy as many things as possible with the little money he had. Even though he was naive, even at such a young age he already had a natural sense of judging the quality of things. Eventually, relying on his understanding and information, the child decides to buy a chocolate.
shopkeeper’s loving response
For about three minutes, the child bargains furiously with the woman at the shop. His hidden hope was that maybe, with his amazing “loveliness”, he might be able to get something extra! The lady at the shop, on her part, listens to him very patiently and calmly, and very comfortably tells him the prices of different things. The conversation between them regarding the purchase lasts about three minutes, but she does not show the slightest irritation or anger towards this “dear customer”.
