Tonk. Karthik Meena Zakir Hussain, a resident of Tonk Housing Board, has won the election of the student union president of Delhi College. Karthik Meena defeated his opponent by 120 votes. Karthik Meena, a final year student of BA Honors, has been studying in Delhi for the last two years. He also started taking interest in politics there. As part of the students’ union election in Delhi, he contested for the president under the banner of ABVP from Zakir Hussain Dehli College. He was victorious in this. He got 575 votes. Out of about 3 thousand votes in this college, around 2 thousand votes were cast. Karthik Meena defeated his Prakadhi Sahajan Khan. Many organizations and people in Tonk have also expressed happiness over this victory.
