Kolkata, March 26 (). A case of murder has come to light from Kolkata, West Bengal. It is being told that two people were sitting on the terrace and drinking alcohol late at night. Meanwhile some people came and a fight started. In this, one person died due to bullet injury, while the other person is said to be injured. Police have arrested four people in this case.
According to the information, at around 1 am in the night, Patuli police station received information that a fight was taking place on the roof of a building in Purba Phool Bagan area. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot. On reaching there it was seen that two people were seriously injured. Both of them were taken to the hospital without any delay.
Doctors declared Rahul De alias Bumbla dead in the hospital. He was shot in the head, due to which he died. At the same time, the other young man, Jeet, narrowly escaped. The bullet touched his head and went out. There is a cut mark on his head. At present, he is undergoing treatment. However, his condition is said to be stable.
Injured Jeet told the police that he and Rahul were sitting on the terrace and drinking alcohol. At the same time, some people arrived there and suddenly attacked them. Initially there was a fight, but later the matter escalated to such an extent that shots were fired. In this firing, Rahul lost his life on the spot, while Jeet somehow survived, but was injured.
The police has shown speed in this case and identified all the accused. So far four people have been arrested. These include Deep Roy (33 years) alias Pukai and Bidhan Banerjee (27 years), who are residents of Narendrapur police station area. Apart from this, Raja Banik (36 years), who is a resident of Netaji Nagar area and Jayanto Ghosh have also been detained.
At present, the police is interrogating all the accused, so that it can be found out what was the real reason for the fight.
