Beijing, May 1 (). A readers’ meeting for the English edition of Volume 5 of ‘Xi Jinping: China’s Governance’ was held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia on April 30.
The participants believe that the important works of Chinese President Xi Jinping contain great development experience and governance concepts, which represent Eastern wisdom. Especially in the background of the complex development of the current geopolitical landscape and profound changes in the global governance system, in-depth exchange of governance experiences between China and Malaysia through the dissemination of books is of great significance to deepen China-Malaysia friendship, mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation, and promote the building of a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future.
During the event, the Chinese side presented copies of the English edition of Volume 5 of ‘Xi Jinping: Governance of China’ to the foreign guests. The experts present deliberated and discussed on topics such as national governance, China-ASEAN regional cooperation and China-Malaysia Community with a Shared Future.
It is noteworthy that this program was organized by the Press Office of the State Council of China, the Foreign Language Publications Administration of China and the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia. The event was attended by approximately 200 people from publishing, think-tank, media and other sectors from both China and Malaysia.
