Kulbhushan Goyal gave information to traders of relief in GST rates

Panchkula. On Wednesday, Kulbhushan Goyal, the mayor of Panchkula, reached the Sector-6 market and informed the shopkeepers about the low GST rates as part of the indigenous campaign. Suresh Kumar Verma, District Senior Vice President and Councilor of Bharatiya Janata Party was also present on the occasion. Kulbhushan Goyal said that the central government has given frequent relief in GST rates in the interest of traders. Both consumers and shopkeepers are getting its direct benefit. He said that these steps of the government have brought transparency in the business of small and medium traders and their tax burden has also reduced. He explained to the shopkeepers that many everyday used goods have become cheap due to the reduction in GST rates, reduced the burden of tax compliance of small traders, input tax credit has reduced the cost of traders, consumers are getting goods at better prices. The Mayor said that the purpose of the ‘every house indigenous’ campaign is not only to promote indigenous products, but also to benefit the traders by giving them information about government schemes and tax reforms.

A large number of shopkeepers including Ashish Rampal, Ruby Bansal, Amit Sharma were present on the occasion. The traders present thanked the central government for implementing tax reform from time to time and giving relief in GST rates.
