Lalsot. A seven-day special camp was inaugurated under the joint aegis of the three units of National Service Scheme (NSS) at Rajesh Pilot Government Post Graduate College. This year the theme of the camp has been kept as “My Young India and Youth for Digital Literacy”, through which efforts will be made to connect the volunteers with social service as well as modern technology.
The confluence of values and service to the nation, the camp was inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Dr. Subhash Pahadia by lighting the lamp in front of the picture of Mother Saraswati. In his address, Dr. Pahadia said that NSS is not just an activity but a powerful medium to develop leadership abilities and democratic attitudes among the students. He laid special emphasis on the role of youth in cleanliness, environment protection and disaster management.
Leadership and confidence development
Chief guest Hanuman Prasad Meena said that NSS inspires students to understand the problems of the community and solve them.
Special guest Rambharosi Bairwa said that volunteering instills a sense of social responsibility and self-confidence among the students.
Cleanliness campaign conducted in the campus
At the beginning of the program, Program Officer Lokesh Kumar Meena presented the report of the seven-day action plan. After the inaugural session, all the volunteers volunteered under the direction of Program Officer Rakesh Kumar Meena and Bharti Chaturvedi. During this, the message of cleanliness was given by cleaning the indoor stadium located in the college campus.
Main activities to be conducted during the camp: Awareness campaign on digital literacy. Environmental protection and tree plantation. Community Health and Sanitation Survey. Personality development and intellectual session.
