Madhya Pradesh: Controversy over the banner of 'I Love Mohammed' in Indore, VHP objected

Indore, 22 September (). ‘I Love Mohammed’ banners, which engaged in the beginning of Shardiya Navratri in Indore, the business city of Madhya Pradesh, has raised controversy. It is not clear who has imposed this banner-poster. At the same time, the police vigil has been increased.

According to the information received, the banner-posters of ‘I Love Mohammed’ installed in Chandan Nagar area were found, which has created a new controversy. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders have objected to these posters installed at the beginning of Navratri festival. He says that at this time when Navratri, the main festival of Hindu society, is being celebrated, in such a situation, people of a particular class are trying to spoil the atmosphere.

VHP leaders have raised the question that at present there is neither any major festival of classes nor any religious event, yet suddenly posters of ‘I Love Mohammed’ were put up. The VHP leader has alleged that such banners are being deliberately installed near Hindu -dominated areas, which can cause communal tension.

VHP officials say that when the whole city is immersed in the color of mother’s devotion and garbage on a holy festival like Navratri, then putting such posters seems to be a well-planned move of anti-social elements. He has demanded from the administration that immediate investigation in this matter should be taken and strict action should be taken against the responsible people. Along with this, VHP leaders also mentioned foreign funding in this entire development. They allege that banners of such ‘I Love Mohammed’ are being installed in many places across the country, which point to a big conspiracy.

He said that if the administration and intelligence agencies are not alert in time, then such steps can give rise to disharmony and controversy in the society. Police and administrative officials have currently started investigating the case. Additional force has been deployed to maintain peace in the area. After all, who put this banner and with what intention? This has not been clear.
