Maharashtra: Ajit Pawar said on the allegations against son Parth, 'I do not support wrong'

Pune. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday answered media questions on allegations against his son Parth Pawar regarding a valuable land deal. When Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was asked whether he had given any advice to his son Parth Pawar, he said that I had given an advice to the administration on Friday itself that if any such case comes to your notice in which any of my close or distant relatives is found involved in any kind of malpractice and wrongdoing, then there is no need to be afraid of pressure from anyone. I have been a rule-following worker, I am today, and I will be in the future also. I will never support such actions in my life. I do not consider them correct. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said that the programs continued till late last night and from there I came straight here. Parth (Parth Pawar) is in Mumbai. I am going to Mumbai tomorrow night. When I reach Mumbai, I will tell them that whatever has happened in this matter, you people should also learn some things from it. A person keeps trying to learn new things from experience, this is the beginning of that.
Earlier, Ajit Pawar had distanced himself from the valuable land deal involving his son Parth Pawar in Pune’s Mundwa-Koregaon Park, saying that he had nothing to do with the deal. He supported the investigation ordered by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and said that it is his right to do so.
He claimed that till date I have never given instructions to the officials that my close or distant relatives should get benefits. I have never called officials and given any order. Being the Deputy Chief Minister, I tell all the officers and employees that if anyone uses my name to do wrong or does anything which is not according to the rules then I will not support them. I am a person who works within the framework of law and rules.
At the same time, political turmoil has intensified over allegations of irregularities in the alleged land deal against Parth Pawar, son of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader and spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam reacted. He said that the state government has issued orders for an administrative inquiry into this matter. I think the state government should be congratulated for this.
