Mahwa: Abused elders will get support, Bansal family started Jashoda Old Age Ashram.

Dausa/Mahva. An exemplary initiative has been taken in Mahwa in the field of social service. Prahlad Bansal and Ganesh Bansal have started ‘Jashoda Old Age Ashram and Trust’ to serve the elderly who are facing family abuse and indifference from their loved ones. This ashram has emerged as a new ray of hope for those senior citizens who are neglected in their own homes.


Social worker Mahavir Jain said that at present there are many elderly people who are harassed by their sons or daughters-in-law. In many cases, they are harassed for the purpose of grabbing property or they are not even given adequate food. Such helpless elders no longer need to feel sad. Complete arrangements have been made for his stay and respectable life in this ashram located on Pali Road, Mahwa. Shrinathji’s temple has also been built in the Jasoda Old Age Ashram premises for spiritual peace. Besides, a cow shelter has also been started in the campus, due to which the atmosphere of the ashram will be full of service and goodness. Organizers told that this service work is not limited only to the local level, but needy old men and women from any area can take admission here. This noble work done by the Bansal family is being highly appreciated in the area.
