New Delhi . Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh has accused Congress of insulting Ambedkar for decades. He said that the Congress has been filled with malice and hatred against the underprivileged for decades. Meanwhile, Tarun Chugh attacked Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of violating constitutional rules. BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh, while talking to , said that four generations of the Congress party insulted Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar for five decades. They insulted his vision and the Indian Constitution. Pandit Nehru troubled him so much that he had to resign from his post. Tarun Chugh said that Congress made efforts to defeat Ambedkar. He said, “When Bhimrao Ambedkar spent his last days in Delhi, he had to face a lot of trouble. After his death, Congress did not even give five yards of land to Babasaheb Ambedkar in Delhi. His body was forcibly sent to Mumbai.”
The BJP general secretary said that Prime Minister Modi always respected Babasaheb Ambedkar. Five shrines were built on his life. Our ideology got Baba Saheb Ambedkar the Bharat Ratna.
Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, Tarun Chugh said, “Whenever it comes to hoisting the tricolor, honors or constitutional programs within the country, be it Independence Day, the swearing-in ceremony of the Vice President or the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Justice, every time you (Rahul Gandhi) walk away in protest.”
He further said that the post of Leader of Opposition is a serious responsibility under the Constitution, this is not a tourist pass. Rahul Gandhi has been repeatedly violating constitutional norms.
Tarun Chugh also said that Rahul Gandhi is working as a part of the anti-India toolkit at the behest of his masters sitting abroad. This is unfortunate and the country will not tolerate it.
On the historical policy mistakes of Pandit Nehru, Tarun Chugh said that his mistakes cannot be forgotten. This includes Article 370 and 35A, giving away our islands to other countries and leaving permanent membership. These historical events cannot be forgotten.
