Patna. Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have once again been transferred in Bihar on Thursday evening. The General Administration Department has also issued its notification. According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department, the Secretary of the Higher Education Department, a new department created in Bihar, has been appointed. Saran Division Commissioner Rajeev Roshan has been made the Secretary of Higher Education Department of Bihar. Senior IAS officer Nilesh Ramchandra Devre has been transferred from the post of Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department and has been made Special Secretary, Civil Aviation Department. Like before, he will also continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited. Here, Darbhanga Commissioner Kaushal Kishore has been transferred and given the responsibility of Secretary of Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department. Similarly, 2010 batch officer Avnish Kumar Singh, in addition to the post of Commissioner of Munger Division, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner, Bhagalpur Division till further orders.
Bhagalpur Division Commissioner Himanshu Kumar Rai has been transferred to the post of Commissioner, Darbhanga Division. He will also hold additional charge of Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur and Saran Division, Chhapra.
Apart from this, in the new arrangement, Ajay Yadav, Secretary of Prohibition, Excise and Prohibition Department (Additional Charge Director, Higher Education, Education Department, Managing Director, Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Limited, Patna, Managing Director, Bihar State Beverages Corporation Limited, Patna) has been relieved from all the responsibilities and charges of the Education Department. On Monday itself, District Magistrates of many districts of Bihar were transferred.
