The viral video is said to be from a government school in Khaja village of Java block. The teacher in the video has been identified as Durga Prasad. In this video made by a local person, the teacher is seen sleeping comfortably in the classroom. Students are present, but their studies are being adversely affected due to the absence of teachers.

Although the District Education Officer (DEO) initially pretended to be unaware of the matter, after the video went viral he immediately took note of the matter and assured a thorough investigation.

The DEO has assured that after the completion of the investigation, appropriate action will be taken against the guilty teacher. Local people and parents have demanded that the District Education Officer should take immediate action against such irresponsible teachers so that there is no compromise with the future of the students.
