Similarly, Nepal is also not allowing Indian citizens to enter Nepal, but Nepali citizens working or traveling in India are allowed to return. For the last 48 hours, more than 3000 trucks have parked at the international integrated check post on the India Nepal border. In addition, the Rajasthan Police has formed a special cell at the police headquarters to help the people of Rajasthan trapped in Nepal. A 24×7 helpline and WhatsApp number have also been released. How many Indians are there in Nepal?

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (Mea), the estimated population of overseas Indians in Nepal is around 7 lakhs. Apart from this, people from Indian states bordering Nepal also come to Nepal on a large scale.

Advisory issued for Indians
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has issued an advisory for Indian people in Nepal. The advisory released on 9 September states, “In view of the deteriorating situation in Nepal, Indian citizens are advised not to travel to Nepal until the situation is stable. Indian citizens present in Nepal are advised to take refuge at their present residence, avoid getting out on the streets and take extreme care. They are also recommended to follow the local security advice by Nepal’s officers and Kathmandu. When required help, please call the Indian Embassy, ​​Kathmandu on the helpline numbers below:

A woman stuck in Nepal appealed to the government
