Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Wednesday alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been hijacked by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are running the Bihar government with the help of corrupt officials.

Nitish is not in his senses, BJP has hijacked him – Tejashwi
Addressing the ‘Extreme Backward Justice Resolution’ program, Tejashwi alleged, “Bihar Chief Minister is not in his senses. He has been hijacked by the BJP. The government is actually running two people, Modi and Shah, with the help of corrupt officials.”

Nitish is copying me – Tejashwi
Tejashwi claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has no concrete and fundamental plan or vision for the development of Bihar. He accused Kumar of “copying” his development plans on several occasions.

Tejashwi played election bets on reservation
The RJD leader reiterated its demand to increase reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes from 50 percent to 65 percent. He said, “The previous Grand Alliance government had increased the limit of reservation for the disadvantaged sections in government jobs and educational institutions from 50 to 65 percent on the basis of caste survey, causing total reservation to 75 percent. However, due to BJP and JDU, the matter got entangled in legal complications.”

BJP-JDU reservation thief: Tejashwi
Accusing the BJP and JDU leaders of obstructing the efforts of social justice, they called them a reservation thief. Following his allegations, the audience present in the auditorium started shouting slogans against NDA leaders and raised a new slogan of “Reservation Chor”. Tejashwi smiled and said, “Thank you for the suggestion.”

Tejashwi claimed Mandal Commission
He said that the fight for social justice will now enter the next stage. Tejashwi said, “Many recommendations of the Mandal Commission have not been implemented yet. If the Grand Alliance government is formed, all its recommendations will be implemented.”
