Mumbai . Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC accused the opposition of being anti-women and said that the opposition has insulted women. Speaking to in Mumbai, Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC said that the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Act’ was a golden opportunity, which we could have passed. The opposition did not allow it to be passed. We hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will re-introduce this bill in Parliament with some necessary amendments. If the opposition once again does not accept this, there will be a big movement in the entire country. Shaina NC said on UCC that Uniform Civil Code means that there should be a uniform set of laws for every citizen of the country. There will be no appeasement politics of any kind in this. The minority community in many states including West Bengal has now accepted that Uniform Civil Code is the need of the hour. Some parties are opposing CAA, NRC and UCC only for appeasement politics. UCC is needed for the country.
On Nashik IT Company case, Shiv Sena leader said that six people have been arrested in Nashik. This is a very serious matter. Girls were being blackmailed by luring them and making obscene videos of them. Nashik Police did a very commendable job. Women policemen, deployed as undercovers in plain clothes, verified the complaints and nabbed the accused.
On the statement of narrator Dhirendra Shastri, Shaina NC said that we all believe that Sanatan Dharma is a symbol of peace and harmony. It promotes unity and preserves cultural values. We fully respect the court’s decision in the Kashi Vishwanath case. We hope that like the case of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, the reverence and grandeur of the devotees will be seen in Kashi Vishwanath also.
