Neemrana: Flat residents took to the streets against Trihan builders, women raised hue and cry over the poor condition of the lift.

Neemrana | In Neemrana-based THD Royal Coat (Trihan Builders and Developers) Society, residents expressed their anger against the lack of facilities and negligence of the builder. On Tuesday, a large number of society people, especially women, staged a strong protest against the builder management. The main allegation of the protesters is that the condition of the lifts installed in all the towers of the society is extremely pathetic. Residents said lifts often stop midway, leaving children and elderly people stuck inside for hours. This is not only inconvenient but has also become a major threat to the lives of the residents. During the protest, the women raised slogans of “Trihan Hi-Hi” and accused the management of dictatorship. Residents say that a hefty ‘service charge’ is collected by the builder every month, but when it comes to maintenance, the management turns a blind eye. Despite repeated complaints, the lifts are not being repaired.
Hundreds of residents including RWA President Pradeep, Manoj Srivastava, Lokesh Khandelwal, Akhilesh and Alok were present in this protest. RWA officials made it clear that if the lifts are not repaired soon and maintenance services are not improved, the agitation will become more violent and the matter will be complained to the administration and concerned departments.
