New Delhi . Rhetoric continues on the hijab controversy involving Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Now, on this matter, Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Virendra Singh said that Nitish Kumar should apologize. Speaking to , the SP MP said that this incident is shameful and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar did not respect a daughter. Along with a community, he also tried to insult that woman. He should apologise. On Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan’s statement on ‘Operation Sindoor’, the SP MP said that we never comment in the context of soldiers. In ‘Operation Sindoor’, losses were incurred not because of the soldiers, but because of the politicization of the soldiers.
The MP said on SIR that no one has called it wrong. Questions are being raised as to how and with what intention the SIR is being implemented. A particular community is being targeted through SIR, while silence is maintained during elections. People of Bihar are asking BJP how many infiltrators they have identified, how many have been sent to detention centers and how many actions have been taken against them. This was a means to manipulate votes, steal votes and win Bihar elections.
On PM Modi’s honor in Ethiopia, the MP said that when the Prime Minister is honoured, the country is honoured. This should be welcomed. But, India has become a big country. It is not a good thing to take respect from small countries.
Meanwhile, on the ‘Developed India: Yes Ram Ji’ bill, Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan said that if anyone was the biggest devotee of Ram, it was Mahatma Gandhi, whose last words were also ‘Ram’. Now, by changing the name, it is not right to insult Bapu like this.
