Panchkula. PM Shri G.G. S.S.S. Under the able guidance of Poonam Berwal, Principal of Sector 15 Panchkula, volunteers rendered service at Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Mandir, Sector 15 Panchkula. Under the leadership of NSS in-charge Kavita Chopra and Monica Joshi, volunteers did the work of cleaning the temple premises. Garlands of flowers and leaves were prepared and the message of service, cooperation, social responsibility and goodwill was given to the society. On this occasion, School Principal Poonam Berwal, while addressing the volunteers, said that such social activities strengthen the feeling of sensitivity, discipline and ‘service is the true religion’ among the youth. He said that NSS is a powerful medium of social service and national service. Through which NSS volunteers are able to develop their personality as well as make excellent contribution in solving the problems of the society. NSS incharge Kavita Chopra and Monica Joshi said that every year volunteers participate in various such social activities. This develops leadership qualities in them.
