Mumbai, 24 September (). In many districts of Maharashtra, rain caused havoc, causing flooding in many districts. The crop of farmers was completely destroyed, due to normal life affected. Regarding this, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has surrounded the central and state governments.
Talking to reporters, Sanjay Raut said that the crop standing on 7 million acres of land has been completely destroyed in floods and rain. 40 lakh farmers suffer from floods. Now you have money left in your vault to give to the farmers? You have drowned the state in debt. We have demanded Rs 10000 crore from the center. Go and ask Eknath Shinde to go to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and ask for money. Tell Ajit Pawar to go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ask for money, because he is your leader.
He further said that due to floods, the situation in Marathwada and western Maharashtra, if this type of situation had been in Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi would have reached there with airforce aircraft so far. Home Minister Amit Shah is in Gujarat and by airplane itself, the help of thousand crore rupees is announced to Gujarat, but PM Modi or Amit Shah, these two leaders have not yet announced any help for Maharashtra on behalf of the Center.
Explain that heavy rains in many districts of Maharashtra affected life. Flood -like conditions were created in Beed, Dharashiv, Solapur and Ahilyanagar districts. In view of the seriousness of the situation, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams were deployed at the request of the local administration.
NDRF personnel have been continuously engaged in relief and rescue operations since Monday night, due to which the lives of hundreds of people have been saved so far. The situation became very serious in Sadas Chinchole area of Majalgaon tehsil of Beed. Here the NDRF team carried out a campaign all night and by morning a newborn and a woman were safely taken out.
