On Tejashwi's reservation statement, Chirag Paswan said - thinking of getting votes by scaring people is wrong.

Patna, 9 November (). The noise of election campaign will stop on Sunday for the second phase of voting in Bihar Assembly elections. Union Minister Chirag Paswan has targeted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for his recent statements. He said that the strategy and thinking of getting votes by scaring people is wrong.

While talking to the media in Patna, Union Minister Chirag Paswan targeted Tejashwi Yadav. He said that in every election, leaders of opposition parties deviate from the issues and want to get votes by misleading people on unnecessary issues. This thinking of opposition parties is not right.

He said that the opposition was focusing on issues like SIR before the elections, claiming that people’s votes were being deducted through SIR, did you find any voter who said that his vote was deducted? These people kept blaming EVMs, when no new excuse was found, they made SIR a new issue.

Chirag Paswan said that SIR has nothing to do with either the government nor the people of our state. The opposition has always tried to spread confusion in every election. You see, this has become part of the opposition’s strategy, whenever elections come, they create a false narrative, spread misinformation and try to create fear. It was also seen in the Lok Sabha elections that the opposition spread the illusion that if the NDA government comes again, reservation and the Constitution will be abolished in the country. It has been more than a year and a quarter since PM Modi’s third term. I would have asked the leader of the opposition parties whether the Constitution has ended and democracy has ended.

Referring to SIR, he said that if the opposition parties feel that SIR is an issue for them, then why did they not register an official objection even once? If you do not trust the Election Commission then go to the Supreme Court, milk will turn into water. The idea of getting votes by scaring people is wrong.
