Ajmer. On the eve of New Year, as part of the weekly program series of Rajasthan Day celebrations, a grand and reverent Maha Aarti was organized under the joint auspices of the District Administration and the Devasthan Department at the world famous Brahma Temple located in Pushkar in Ajmer district on Wednesday evening. In this, Water Resources and Planning Minister Suresh Singh Rawat, present as the chief guest, performed the aarti of Lord Brahma and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and prosperity of the state and the district. The program started with traditional Vedic chanting. After this, Maha Aarti was completed amidst the huge number of devotees present in the temple courtyard. During the Aarti, the entire atmosphere was filled with devotion, spiritual energy and enthusiasm. Maha Aarti was conducted as per the rituals by Lakshmi Nivas Vashishtha, Krishna Gopal Vashishtha and Vaibhav Vashishtha and other priests.
On this occasion, Minister Rawat in his address said that Rajasthan Day is a symbol of our rich cultural heritage, traditions and glorious history and such religious and cultural events spread positive energy in the society and strengthen social harmony and brotherhood. Referring to various public welfare schemes of the state government, he said that the government is fully committed to the conservation and promotion of cultural heritage along with development.
During the program, Minister Rawat honored the saints and Mahatmas and received their blessings. The guests were welcomed by the officials of the District Administration and Devasthan Department and after Maha Aarti, Prasad was distributed to the devotees.
