Regarding this, State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Ratnagarbha land of Panna does not need any identity. Panna has made Madhya Pradesh proud along with herself. The credit for giving Madhya Pradesh the status of Tiger and Diamond State also goes to Panna. In the beneficiary conference at Gram Panchayat Shahnagar of Powai assembly constituency of Panna district, Chief Minister Yadav, while congratulating the people of the district on getting the GI tag for Panna Diamond, said that the GI tag has now put a global seal on the identity of Panna. Now the whole world will know the diamonds here only by the name of Panna Diamond. The Chief Minister said that Panna Diamond is now emerging as a brand. This will not only increase recognition in the international market, but will also open up new investment opportunities in value-chain, mining, processing, export and gem-based industries. Panna district is going to get the gift of a medical college very soon. Today, the grand Rajgarh Palace Hotel has also been inaugurated between Panna and Chhatarpur.
Chief Minister Yadav, while inaugurating and performing Bhoomi Pujan of 14 development works costing about Rs 83 crore here, said that to give a new flight to the development of Panna, the state government is preparing a Diamond Business Park in Panna at a cost of Rs 15 crore.
This park will write a new chapter in the economy of Panna. With this, the development of industrial park in 40 hectare area in Badagaon is almost complete. We have restarted the NMDC project which was closed for years, due to which the mining of Hero has started once again on a large scale. –
