The affidavit filed by Yasin Malik in the Delhi High Court has hot the country’s politics. Congress leader Pawan Kheda, while targeting the BJP, described it as a toolkit to divert attention from vote theft. He said that the BJP has been leaking selected excerpts from Yasin Malik’s affidavit since morning so that the image of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA government can be tarnished. Congress leader Pawan Kheda said that no one should be surprised if any Prime Minister is showing etiquette about the peace agreement. He raised questions about his collusion with Yasin Malik on BJP and RSS.
Questions asked by BJP about Yasin Malik’s connivance
He asked the BJP three questions. First: Why was RSS meeting Yasin Malik in 2011? The BJP was not even in power then. Second: Why was the leadership of BJP and RSS related to Vivekananda Foundation, who was talking to Yasin Malik? Third question: During the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Yasin Malik was forced to talk to Dhirubhai Ambani on the phone through a third party.

‘Vajpayee intervened in Yasin Malik’s march’
Posting on X, Pawan Kheda said that instead of expressing anger over Dr. Manmohan Singh, BJP should look into history. He said, “In May 2007, Yasin Malik was preparing to start his own Safar-e-Azadi (march for independence). After being arrested on May 4, he started an indefinite hunger strike demanding the right to move forward. At that time, Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the one who intervened with the UPA government and ensured that the march should be held.”

Pawan Kheda said, “When the policy of the country was interacted, both former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Dr. Manmohan Singh used to meet all kinds of people. If Manmohan Singh’s etiquette is to be questioned, then perhaps the BJP should clarify the smiling picture of Atal Bihari Vajpayee with Hurriyat leadership or the pilgrimage of Lala Krishna Advani’s tomb of Atal Bihari Vajpayee with Hurriyat leadership.
