Rally and memorandum to the sub-divisional officer in the name of the Prime Minister

Rupbas (Bharatpur). On Wednesday, against the Central Government’s decision of not including the pensioners in the Eighth Pay Commission, Rajasthan Pensioners Society sub-branch Rupbas, wearing black bands, took out a rally from Hanuman Ji Mandir to the Sub-Divisional Officer in protest against the black law and submitted a memorandum in the name of the Prime Minister to the Sub-Divisional Officer under the leadership of President Mavasi Ram, teacher leader Harishankar Sharma, Padam Singh Minister, Bhagwan Singh Chahar, and former Principal Bhagwan Singh Chauhan. Pensioner Society Minister Padam Singh said that a law has been made and passed in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha that the employees retired before January 1, 2026 will not get any benefit of the eighth pay scale. In protest against this, on the call of All India State Pensioners Federation, New Delhi, a memorandum has been submitted to the Sub Divisional Officer Rupbas in the name of the Prime Minister. This law has been approved by the Lok Sabha on 25 March 2025. If this Act is implemented in letter and spirit then the date of retirement of the pensioners will be the basis of classification and differentiation between them with respect to pension eligibility. Due to which the pensioners before the tenure of Central Pay Commission or any Pay Commission will be deprived of the benefit of the recommendation of the Pay Commission.
Existing pensioners will have to suffer huge losses due to not getting the benefit of pension increase in these difficult times.
On this occasion, President Mawasi Ram, teacher leader Harishankar Sharma, educationist Bhagwan Singh Chahar, Purushottam Lavania, educationist Omkar Shukla, Padam Singh Tawar, Mahendra Singh, Umesh Kamwar, Ram Swaroop, Prabhu Dayal Khitalia, Devi Ram Yogi, Jagan Lal, Jahar Singh, Bhagwan Singh Chauhan, Rajendra Faujdar, Vikram Chaudhary, Chhitarmal Katara, Vijendra Parmar, Pratap Dattatreya, Kishanlal Khatri, Satya Prakash. Sharma, Mahendra Singh Sharma and Jagdish Singh etc. expressed their views and appealed to the Prime Minister to withdraw the black law and said that the government should not adopt double standards with pensioners and should not consider pensioners as weak. Everyone called upon the Prime Minister to withdraw the black law. Operation was done by Minister Padam Singh Tawar.
