PM Kisan 22nd Installment Update: Rs 2000 will be transferred at this time today, check like this whether your name is in the list or not

Today is a very important day for millions of farmers across the country. The 22nd installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme is going to be released today. Under this installment, an amount of ₹2,000 will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers. According to the government, this time more than 90 million (9 crore) farmer families are expected to benefit from this initiative.

When will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana be released?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release this installment today from Guwahati, the capital of Assam. This program is scheduled to take place around 5:00 pm, after which the funds will be transferred to the accounts of the farmers. Through this instalment, the government will deposit approximately ₹18,640 crore directly into the bank accounts of farmers.

Farmers have already received lakhs and crores of rupees
PM Kisan Yojana was launched in February 2019 with the aim of providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. Under this scheme, farmers get an amount of ₹6,000 annually. This amount is given in three installments of ₹2,000 each, which are transferred directly into their bank accounts. According to government data, since the inception of the scheme, a total amount of more than ₹4.09 lakh crore has been transferred to farmers. After the release of the 22nd tranche, this figure will exceed ₹4.27 lakh crore. It is noteworthy that this time, more than 20 million (2 crore) women farmers will also benefit from this scheme.

Why have the names of many farmers been removed?
However, in recent times there has been a slight decline in the number of beneficiaries of this scheme. While earlier about 104.8 million (10.48 crore) farmers used to get installments, now this number has come down to about 93.5 million (9.35 crore). Three main reasons for this decline have been suggested:

Persons found ineligible as per the rules of the scheme
Incorrect Aadhaar or bank account information
Failure to complete e-KYC
The government has clearly said that future installments will not be released without completing e-KYC.

How to complete e-KYC sitting at home
For the convenience of farmers, the government has also launched a mobile application based on facial recognition technology. With its help, farmers can complete their e-KYC sitting at home, even without any OTP or biometric device. Apart from this, this process can also be completed by visiting a nearby CSC center or Kisan Seva Kendra.
