Ahmedabad/Udaipur. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the International Kite Festival organized at Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During this, he flew a special ‘train kite’ prepared by artist Praveen Kumar, resident of Udaipur, Rajasthan, which attracted a lot of attention of the people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Sabarmati Riverfront after Sabarmati Ashram with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Here both the leaders enjoyed kite flying in the International Kite Festival. Meanwhile, PM Modi flew a unique train kite prepared in Udaipur. Tricolor theme with social message
This kite made by Praveen Kumar and his team was based on the theme of the tricolor. Social messages like Operation Sindoor and women empowerment were given through kites. This kite with complex design and special flying technique was specially prepared in Udaipur and brought to Ahmedabad.
PM Modi talked to the artist
After flying the kite, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Praveen Kumar and his team and appreciated their skill. PM Modi said that such creative efforts not only keep the country’s traditions alive but also spread awareness on contemporary social issues.
The artist told his experience
Praveen Kumar told that every time he tries to give some social message through his art. This time the kite was prepared keeping Operation Sindoor and women empowerment at the center. He is extremely excited by the Prime Minister flying the kite and appreciating the team.
This ‘Train Kite’ of a Udaipur artist remained a topic of discussion across the country in the International Kite Festival.
