Comedian Sunil Pal has claimed that Samay Raina recently called him to appear in ‘India’s Got Latent 2’, but he turned down the offer despite being offered ₹25 lakh. Speaking to the paparazzi in Mumbai on Thursday, Pal said that he refused because he did not want to use abusive language on the show. Pal said that Samay had offered him ₹25 lakh, but he replied that he would not abuse anyone. Pal later said that even though Pal himself was not required to use such language, other people on the show would. Siddhant shared a video of this conversation on Instagram.

Pal has repeatedly expressed his displeasure over Samay Raina’s style of comedy. After Alia Bhatt and Sharvari’s appearance in the first episode of ‘India’s Got Latent 2’, Pal took to Facebook to take a dig at the show’s cast, writing, “Where there is foul language, there is Alia.” The feud between Sunil Pal and Samay Raina started in 2025, when Pal criticized Samay for using abusive language in the first season of ‘India’s Got Latent’ (which streamed on YouTube). At the time, Pal told , “Don’t call them stand-up comedians. That would be an insult to real stand-up comedy. They are illiterate people who should be treated like terrorists.”

Pal also criticized the content of the show and said that while the youth are trying to be responsible and decent human beings, such comedians are being given a public platform to use obscenity and foul language. He also commented that these events are organized by educated organizers and promote obscenity rather than meaningful messages, which is an irony. Later, during his ‘Still Alive’ act, he hit back and called Sunil “insecure” and “disappointed”. He reminded that Sunil had advised him to learn from Kapil Sharma, and then took a dig at him, saying, “Kapil Sharma himself was coming in the next episode. Kapil Sharma himself was messaging me and saying, ‘I love your show’.”
