Behror. Manthan Foundation Charitable Trust, an organization working in the field of empowerment of disabled people for the last eleven years, is organizing the Interstate Wheelchair Rugby Cup on the sacred grounds of Behror on Sunday. A press conference was organized at Mahawar Dharamshala on Saturday to give detailed information about the tournament. National Para athletes from three states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand are participating in this exciting tournament being organized for the first time in Rajasthan.
Giving information, Dr. Savita Goswami, National Secretary of Manthan Foundation, said that this tournament will be formally inaugurated by the guests at 8 am in the sports stadium of Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Behror. A total of 5 matches will be played in this tournament. In which 3 league matches will be played at 10 am, 11 am and 12 noon. The semi-finals will be held at 2 pm and the final match will be held at 3 pm. After this a prize distribution ceremony will be organized. During the press conference, detailed information about the rugby game was given by the captains of the three states. Behror MLA Dr. Jaswant Singh Yadav as the chief guest in the program, District Cricket Association President Mohit Yadav as the special guest, famous social worker Seth Shridhar Gupta, District Collector Priyanka Goswami, Social Justice and Empowerment Department Assistant Director Kotputli Behrrod Vipin Choudhary, Chief Block Education Officer Ramkala Yadav, Behrrod Tehsildar Rajendra Mohan, Police Station Officer Ankit Samaria, Social Security Officer Sansar Sagar, Rajasthan Wheelchair Rugby Federation President UK. Pandey will be present.
