Bundi. Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tikaram Julie have made serious allegations against the state and central government on issues like paper leak, unemployment, education system and coaching culture. He supported the student dialogue program organized by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in Kota and called it an important initiative towards understanding the problems of the youth. He said that Rahul Gandhi is a storm and no one can stop him from raising the issues of youth. Govind Singh Dotasara said that the biggest problem of the youth of the country today is irregularities in the examination system and paper leaks. He said that students and their families spend heavily on coaching and preparation, many even invest in their children’s education by taking loans and mortgaging property, but their hard work and dreams get ruined when the paper gets leaked even before the exam. He said that in such a situation, someone will have to come forward and understand the main problems of the youth and find solutions to them. Dotasara said that Rahul Gandhi has taken up this issue seriously and has tried to understand the problems of the students by communicating with them. He said that politics cannot be separated from youth issues.
Dotasara targeted the central government and the BJP, alleging that the government was trying to suppress the opposition and weaken democratic institutions. He also said that unemployment and economic inequality are increasing in the country, which is affecting the youth the most.
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tikaram Julie also supported Rahul Gandhi’s Kota tour and student dialogue programme. He said that the education system in the country is going through a serious crisis. On one hand, lakhs of rupees are being spent on coaching institutes. On the other hand, due to limited seats in government jobs, lakhs of youth remain unemployed.
Tikaram Julie said that incidents like paper leak and examination cancellation are playing with the future of the students. He alleged that some people may be involved in this entire system, against whom action needs to be taken. He also said that the investigating agencies should work in an impartial manner so that the culprits are punished.
He said that Rahul Gandhi has done the work of directly communicating with the students in Kota to bring out their real problems. According to him, only a small section gets government jobs, while a large number of youth remain unemployed. He said that this situation is a matter of serious social concern.
Tikaram Julie also said that today the dominance of the coaching industry is increasing in the education system and it is putting a heavy financial burden on the parents.
