Jaipur. The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police is taking strict action against those who rig recruitment examinations. In this series, SOG arrested a person on charges of obtaining a government job by fraud. SOG Additional Director General of Police Vishal Bansal said that the main accused Ladu Ram Vishnoi has been arrested in the case of getting a job by sending a dummy candidate in the Gram Sevak Recruitment Examination-2016. There was a reward of Rs 10,000 on Ladu Ram. The matter came to light when SOG received a complaint alleging that candidate Ladu Ram Vishnoi himself had not appeared for the 2016 Gram Sevak Exam. He had allegedly made a dummy candidate appear in the exam.
Initial investigation confirmed the allegations, after which SOG registered a case and started investigation. During investigation, it emerged that Ladu Ram had allegedly hired Gopal Vishnoi, son of Jagdish Vishnoi, a resident of Barmer, to appear in the exam in his place.
Surprisingly, dummy candidate Gopal Vishnoi himself was working as a second-grade teacher in Jodhpur. He was earlier arrested in this case on 19 December 2024. Ladu Ram was absconding since the case was registered and was repeatedly changing places to avoid arrest.
Therefore, SOG announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone providing information that helps in his capture. Using technical surveillance, intelligence inputs and constant monitoring, SOG finally caught him on 1 December.
The arrested accused is a resident of Gadra Nedinadi, Tehsil Dhorimanna, District Barmer. SOG is now expanding the scope of investigation in this matter, so that the entire network behind this fake recruitment can be detected.
