Rajasthan: Horrific road accident in Banswara, bus full of wedding procession overturned on slope, 3 dead and more than 40 injured.

Banswara. A major road accident took place in Banswara district of Rajasthan on Friday evening, where the happy wedding atmosphere turned into mourning. A bus filled with wedding processions went out of control and overturned in Kalinjara police station area, due to which 3 people died on the spot and more than 40 people were injured.


According to the information, the wedding procession of the groom Chimanlal Warji Garasia was returning from Kheda Vadlipada of Sajjangarh and going to Sanlai village. A total of two buses were involved in the procession. At around 6:30 pm, the driver of the rear bus lost control on a dangerous slope near Ghotia Amba, due to which the bus overturned on the roadside. The bus in front had passed safely, but the other bus met with an accident. There was chaos on the spot after the accident. Children and women were also traveling in the bus. Local villagers and passers-by immediately started rescue operations and took the injured to the hospital with the help of private vehicles and ambulances.
Dead and injured: Those who lost their lives in this tragic accident were identified as Tita Sokha Dodiyar, Dalu Bhura Dama, Kamla Garasia.
The bride and groom were traveling in a car, so they are completely safe. About 46 seriously injured people have been referred from Barodiya Hospital to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
As soon as information about the accident was received, District Collector Dr. Inderjit Yadav and SP Sudhir Joshi reached the hospital and inquired about the well-being of the injured. The Collector has given strict instructions to the hospital administration to remain alert and provide prompt treatment to the injured.
