New Delhi . On the anniversary of Pahalgam terrorist attack, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has paid tribute to the innocent people killed. He said on Wednesday that we will never forget those wounds. Any attempt to harm India or its citizens will be responded to with full force. This is the first anniversary of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In this attack, Pakistan supported terrorists shot 26 innocent tourists by asking their religion. It was one of the most brutal attacks targeting civilians in recent years. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on social media platform
He further said, “India has faced cross-border terrorism for decades, but today our response is firm, decisive and unwavering. With our determined actions, we have proved that any attempt to harm our people or break our unity will be responded to with full force.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered the victims of the Pahalgam attack. He said that India will never succumb to terrorism nor will the nefarious designs of terrorists succeed.

He further said, “As a nation, we stand united in this hour of grief. India will never succumb to any form of terrorism. The nefarious designs of terrorists will never succeed.”
It is noteworthy that the Pahalgam terrorist attack took place on April 22 last year, in which tourists were targeted. In the attack, Pakistan supported terrorists shot 26 people after asking their religion. Those killed included 25 tourists and a local civilian who tried to save the tourists.
