Mumbai, July 19 (). Today in the world of film and entertainment, the identity of an artist is not only linked to his acting but also to the popularity of social media. Now web series ‘Rakh’ actress Naina Sarin expressed her views on this issue. He said that the real identity of an artist should not be determined by his followers or social media image, but by his talent and hard work.
Naina Sareen told , “I have learned many things while working in the industry. However, my belief in one thing has always been strong that talent is the biggest identity of an artist. Social media posts, number of followers or public image cannot determine the potential of an artiste.
Naina Sarin said, “In today’s era, many times artists get projects on the basis of their online popularity. Sometimes I feel that if I had more social media followers, I might have got some more opportunities, but I have found many filmmakers who currently select actors only on the basis of their ability and hard work.
He said, “I get hope from such people that in the times to come, real talent will always be given importance.” I have given many auditions in my career, taken acting training and have constantly tried to improve myself. Whatever work I have got, it has been because of my hard work and dedication.
Naina said, “An artiste must be patient and have faith in his work. I believe that if an artist really has talent then he will definitely get recognition. Even though it may take time, hard work and honesty never go waste.”
Talking about ‘Rakh’, it is an investigative crime thriller series, in which along with Naina Sareen, actors like Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir are also seen. The eight-episode series premiered worldwide on June 12.
