Special programs were organized at Majri Dham, the famous religious place of the subdivision area, on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, the great festival of worship of Shakti, and ‘Ramanavami’, the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. During this, Sumit Giri Maharaj of the Dham worshiped the girls in the form of Maa Durga as per the rituals and took her blessings.
A large number of devotees participated in this program organized on the auspicious occasion of the conclusion of Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami. Sumit Giri Maharaj washed the girls’ feet, fed them and presented them with gifts. Addressing the gathering, he said that girls are the embodiment of Mother Durga and respecting them is true devotion.
