Nagpur, April 27 (). A grand felicitation ceremony was organized by Dr. Hedgewar Memorial Committee, Nagpur, in which the personalities who contributed in the construction of the grand temple built at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi were felicitated. The program started with the laying of flowers on the statue of Bharat Mata. On this occasion, many dignitaries including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Pujya Govinddev Giri Maharaj, Committee President Suresh ‘Bhaiyaji’ Joshi and Vice President Shridhar Gadge were present.
Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing the people who came to the program, said that the temple was built as per the wish of Shri Ram ji, unless all the wood is used, Govardhan will not rise. It is only on the fingers of God that it rises, but his fingers do not work until others add wood. The temple was also built like this. For the rise of Sanatan Dharma, the rise of India is inevitable. Yogi Aurobindo had declared this 150 years ago. As each wood is planted, the power of God’s fingers will continue to flow for the fulfillment of this resolution.
He said that you should think that the process of upliftment started from 1857 to 2014, when the results of the Lok Sabha elections came here, the oath taking ceremony of the new government took place under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Guardian of London wrote an article, “On this day the Indians have finally said good bye to the British technically”, we said good bye on 15 August 1947 itself but we were still not sure.
He said that India has to rise. But, what is India? Which upliftment is to take place? Is Bharat India? All the time was being spent in this dilemma. Our country has found a path. If there had not been such a big movement, would the temple have been built? Such a big movement took place. But if the people who wanted to build the Ram temple were not in power, would the Ram temple have been built? It has been decided to build Ram temple, but if the people to build the foundation were not found, how would it stand further? Every person in India has got wood. Then Shri Ram’s finger showed its miracle. And this is the process. This will go ahead.
Bhagwat said that India has to stand up to give religion to the world. How did the Sangh’s 100 year journey go? The Sangh had nothing. There was no fame, no power, no publicity, no resources, no money. Dr. Hedgewar got followers. What was his age? What was his experience? But take a faith and belief. People used to laugh, that was not the case in the beginning. Today only the laughing people are saying that India is a country of Hindus. Tell us to declare. We say that there is no need to declare it, it is what it is. The sun rises from the east. Should this be declared? It rises from the east. The place from where it rises is called East. So India is a Hindu nation.
Mohan Bhagwat said that today it is acceptable to everyone. But what was it at that time? At that time everyone used to make fun of him. These new experienced workers, because of the faith they had in their hearts, the faith they had in the words of Dr. Hedgewar, despite all these things, they kept working, they will keep steering the rudder, the destination will come, it will come. It used to come to mind and used to say jokingly that this is what we are going to do, we are going to keep steering the rudder, we are going to do the same, the destination will come, it will come, we are going to say this. Who knows when the destination will be reached, but even while making such jokes, no one has lost control of the rudder. Started with faith and belief and kept doing it. Just as the qualities of Shri Ram are described in Ramayana, being the basis of Ram Rajya, similarly, there is also a description of what the subjects of Ram Rajya were like. So the construction of the temple which was to happen in Ayodhya was done. A board of trustees has been formed for its management. The work that has to be done by turning every heart into Ayodhya and building a temple for the nation, we all will have to do that work at our respective places and will have to make continuous efforts believing that it will be done with faith and belief under any circumstances.
Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that this temple is not just a religious place but a symbol of self-respect and restoration of Hindu society. This movement became a medium of public awareness in the entire country and is the center of faith of crores of people. Champat Rai shared many interesting and technical aspects related to the construction of the temple. He said that in order to make the temple durable for 1000 years, minimum use of iron and cement has been used in it. This construction work was completed with the cooperation of artisans, engineers and institutions from across the country. This project came to fruition with the cooperation of approximately 10 crore people.
