Ranchi, November 9 (). Politics has intensified after the meeting of National President of Janashakti Janata Dal Tej Pratap Yadav and BJP MP Ravi Kishan. There is speculation that he may support NDA. BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev reacted to this. Pratul Shahdev described the meeting as a “normal conversation” and accused the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of spreading baseless rumours.
Speaking to , he said that it was a normal meeting. During election campaigns, leaders often meet at airports, street meetings or other public places. It is strange to draw conclusions from such chance encounters. Meetings between central and state leaders take place frequently. These should not be given much importance.
He further said that RJD is deliberately spreading this rumor because they know that their boat has already sunk in this election. Now they have no way out.
Commenting on Tej Pratap’s political stance, Pratul Shahdev said that Tej Pratap Yadav has decided to contest the elections as an independent. He runs his own political party, of which he is the national president, and has his own agenda. His focus is on stopping migration from Bihar and this goal is in line with the vision of our party. About one crore people left Bihar during RJD rule, but migration has decreased in the last two decades. People can still go out to earn. If our government comes back, we will ensure that no Bihari has to leave the state for livelihood.
He said that we are contesting Bihar elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The huge crowd gathered at the rallies of Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, JP Nadda and Nitish Kumar clearly reflects the mood of the public. After the first phase of voting, we believe that NDA will win 80 to 90 seats and after the second phase, our seats will cross 160. This time, the NDA is moving towards a two-thirds majority.
