Revolution in EV segment! New version of Hyundai Ioniq 5 launched with powerful range and features, will get a range of 690KM

South Korean carmaker Hyundai has launched a new facelift version of its flagship electric SUV, Hyundai Ioniq 5 in India. Its starting ex-showroom price is ₹ 55.70 lakh. This new electric SUV has now joined the company’s electric car lineup along with Hyundai Creta Electric.

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 now has a larger 84 kWh battery, whereas the previous model had a 72.6 kWh battery. According to ARAI data, with this new battery this SUV can now travel up to 690 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle is built on Hyundai’s exclusive electric platform, E-GMP, which offers better performance and more space. In this, the same Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) system as the previous model has been retained, which makes the driving experience even better.

Small changes, same style
Although no major changes have been made to the exterior of the new Ioniq 5, some minor updates have been made to it. These include redesigned front and rear bumpers, new skid plates, redesigned alloy wheels and a new V-garnish lighting system. Overall, its design remains as futuristic and attractive as before.

Many new updates are also seen inside the cabin. It has a new 3-spoke leather steering wheel, the specialty of which is its unique 4-dot light design and heating function. Apart from this, its interior also has two large 12.3-inch displays. The wireless charging pad has also been redesigned and now includes controls for the heated and ventilated seats. The new Ioniq 5 is equipped with many modern features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, in-car payment system and remote immobilization to prevent theft.

Safety Features
In terms of safety also, many new features have been added to this SUV. It has been provided with facilities like Parking Collision Avoidance Assist and Parking Distance Warning to make parking easy and safe. According to Hyundai, the Ioniq 5 has received a very good response across the world, and has been loved by customers in India as well. This new model aims to provide better range, advanced technology and increased convenience.
