Jaipur. Industry and Commerce Minister Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has expressed deep concern over the massive fire that took place in Khushkheda (Bhiwadi) industrial area on Monday 16th February and expressed his condolences and condolence to the affected families. Also, instructions have been given to the officials to ensure immediate necessary action.
Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore immediately instructed the officials to ensure coordinated action in relief and rescue operations as soon as information about the incident was received. After this, the district administration, fire department, police and other disaster management agencies became active. Quick action was ensured by establishing effective coordination and the situation is being continuously monitored. Keeping in view the seriousness of the accident, Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has given clear instructions to RIICO to ensure strict and time bound action in all the industrial areas of the state. As per his instructions, a detailed circular has been issued to all the unit heads and concerned officers and asked to pay special attention to the following points.
Under this, intensive monitoring of dangerous, polluting and highly flammable activities conducted in industrial units. Immediate ban on activities carried out without the proper permission of the competent authority. This includes mandatory and strict adherence to safety standards and fire safety provisions and no laxity of any kind in regular inspection and supervision.
The Industries Minister made it clear that if an incident of arson in any industrial unit is found to be due to negligence, unauthorized activities or violation of rules, then strict action will be taken as per rules. Under the prescribed procedure, a show cause notice will be issued to the concerned unit and in case a satisfactory reply is not received or the violation is not resolved, strict punitive action including cancellation of plot allotment will be ensured.
The Minister has also directed that the inspection and enforcement mechanism should be further strengthened and accountability of the concerned officers should be ensured. The state government is fully committed to following the highest safety standards in industrial areas. A comprehensive security review has been started in Khushkheda and other sensitive industrial areas. The State Government and RIICO are determined to ensure a safe, responsible and regulated industrial environment in the industrial areas.
