In Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh, a stressful atmosphere was created in the village on Sunday after a ruthless killing of youth Rooplal strangled with a knife. Ruplal’s body reached the village, the villagers got angry and attacked the house of Anees, accused of murder, where he was vandalized.
The reason for superstition and old enmity murder
This whole matter is of Thangaon police station area. Initial police investigation has revealed that superstition and old controversy may be the main reason behind Rooplal’s murder.
Doubt of the deceased: According to family members, the deceased Rooplal suspected that the accused Anees, who worked in the broom, is responsible for the death of his wife, due to which there was a dispute between the two.
Revenge of insult: It was also told that Anees and his disciple Ramprasad had a boost to promoting objectionable things by the deceased.
Method of murder: Police investigation has revealed that Ramprasad, Rupalal was called from home and taken to Anees on the day of the incident. Where both of them strangled Rooplal to death and threw the body in the drain outside the village.
On Saturday morning, Rooplal’s body was found lying in the drain, which had several stabs on the neck. The deceased’s daughter had expressed suspicion of murder on Anees, a resident of the village.
Angry villagers vandalized the house of the accused
As soon as Rooplal’s body reached the village on Sunday, outrage spread among the villagers and he attacked the house of accused Anees. Anees’s old mother Shakina and cancer -affected daughter Rasimun were injured in this sabotage. On receiving information about the sabotage of the accused’s house, police of five police stations including Mahmudabad, Reusa, Rampur Mathura along with CO reached the spot immediately. The police understood the villagers and pacified them and sent both the injured to the health center. The police have taken the accused Anees and his partner into custody.
Funeral performed after MLA explained
Seeing the atmosphere tense in the village, the villagers refused to cremate the body of Rooplal. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, BJP MLA Gyan Tiwari also reached the spot. It was only after the police and MLA assured that the body of Rooplal was cremated only after the conviction of the convicts to take strict action. Inspector in -charge Vimal Gautam has said that the matter is being investigated in depth and the incident will be revealed soon.
