New Delhi, April 19 (). In IPL 2026, 2 matches were played on Saturday. The afternoon match was played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the night match was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Former Indian team cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara spoke on CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Delhi Capitals batsman David Miller.
Speaking on GeoHotStar ‘Google Search AI Mode Match Center Live’, GeoStar Expert Ravichandran Ashwin said that CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad looks under pressure.
Ashwin said, “This was the best opportunity for him to score runs. Looking at the way Ayush Mhatre started, he did not need to take risks or score runs at a fast pace. He was moving quickly in the powerplay. This was the perfect opportunity for Rituraj to take some time, score some runs and get back in form. After the wicket of Ayush Mhatre, Rituraj got a very good ball, it is not easy to beat him on the pull. I just think he “He’s under a lot of pressure, and his mind seems a little confused.”
Gaikwad, who opened the innings for CSK in the match against SRH, was out after scoring 19 runs in 13 balls.
Speaking on GeoHotstar ‘Google Search AI Mode Match Center Live’, Geostar expert Cheteshwar Pujara praised the innings played by DC’s David Miller against RCB in the first match of the day.
Pujara said, “DC were under pressure. The first six against Shepherd changed everything. When you need a big over at the end, that first six is very important, and after that things got a bit easier. David Miller was under pressure because he had not crossed the finish line in an earlier match, even though he had got him very close. So, you might have doubts in your mind, but he is a very experienced batsman, in good form, and so is Tristan Stubbs. They were confident of scoring those runs in the last over because they knew that RCB would have to use their sixth bowler in the end, and finally finished the game.”
In the last over, DC needed 15 runs to win. David Miller led the team to victory by hitting Romario Shepherd with 2 consecutive sixes and 1 four. DC needed 176 runs to win. Miller returned unbeaten after scoring 22 runs on 10 balls.
