Chittorgarh. Cabinet Minister, Government of Rajasthan, Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore, during his stay in Chittorgarh on Sunday, participated in the Jauhar Tribute Ceremony organized by Jauhar Smriti Sansthan and addressed the people present by gratefully saluting all the brave women of Mewar, symbols of renunciation, bravery and sacrifice.
He said, the sacrifice of the bravehearts teaches us that there is nothing greater than freedom and respect. The aura of independent personality of all the brave women will continue to guide us for centuries. Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore started his address by saluting women power and the entire venue echoed with the slogan of Bharat Mata ki Jai. He said, when the brave warriors of Mewar used to go into battle, they used to shout only one slogan, Jai to Ekling Maharaj. This cheer and their determination with which the land of Mewar remains engraved in the hearts of all of us even today. He should be remembered in our hearts also. The enthusiasm and passion that is there in this land and the climate of Mewar is still there in all of us.
Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore said, today the country and the world are changing. We are all seeing the struggle that is taking place all over the world and it is high time that we all remain united at this time. The layers of our identity may be different, but the biggest identity behind those layers is that we are all Indians, this is the biggest identity. The sacrifices of the brave men and women teach us that there is nothing greater than freedom and respect.
